Freelancer or freelance workers are those people who are self-employed and are not committed to a particular employer for long time. Sometimes a company or an agency represents these workers which resells their labor and that of others to its clients with or without project management and labor contributed by its regular employees. Others are completely independent.
Some common freelancing fields are: publishing, screenwriting, acting, photojournalism, editing, video editing, video production,photography, event planning, event management, copy editing, proofreading, indexing, copywriting, music, journalism, computer programming, web design, graphic design, website development, consulting, tour guiding, translating and illustrating.
